Gatonde Project

A beginning filled with hope.

What you’re seeing in these photos is the hut typical of where many people in Gatonde live including the couple shown in this photo.  This small structure rising from the ground is the beginning of a place that will be more decent, more secure than what this couple has had.  The new structure is simple and not fanciful, but it carries a big promise — a promise of shelter and roof over their heads from the sun and rain.
